THE FUTURE OF MULTI-SPORT IN LANSING
Spanning approximately 134,400 square feet, the climate-controlled dome will feature more than 110,000 square feet of premium turf space and over 20,000 square feet of court surfaces, allowing multiple sports and events to operate simultaneously.
The turf layout includes a full-sized 11v11 soccer field and a dedicated 9v9 field, both designed to deliver true match-ready playing environments. The fields can also be reconfigured into smaller formats such as 9v9, 7v7 and 4v4, creating flexible space for leagues, tournaments, camps, and player development programming of all ages.
In addition to turf space, Capital Sportsplex will feature 10 pickleball courts, 4 volleyball courts, and 3 futsal courts, providing year-round opportunities for competition, recreation, and community engagement across multiple sports.
A connected support building will include modern restrooms, concessions, and a versatile multipurpose meeting room for team meetings, coach education, and special events.
Beyond daily programming, Capital Sportsplex is positioned to serve as a regional hub for tournaments and large-scale events, attracting teams and visitors from across Michigan and beyond — driving economic activity while strengthening the Capital Area’s presence in the youth and amateur sports landscape.
